In 2019, in collaboration with Ethnobotanist Liza Katchko and The Pointe Au Chien Indian Tribe, I secured funding through the Terrebonne Parrish Arts Council as well as a material donation from Blick Art Supplies. I worked with Tribal leaders to produce a coloring book archiving local endangered plants and their uses. To accompany the coloring book, I co-facilitated and provided materials for a watercolor and plant identification workshop in the Point au Chien community center. All sacred plant information was shared, lead, held and secured within the Point au Chien community.
