Inspired by the decrepit Arlington Bridge in The North End of Winnipeg. A bridge I traveled on constantly as a kid. Originally built in 1906 in Birmingham, England, the bridge was originally built to span the Nile River. Because of a sizable error in construction, the bridge was sold at a discount to Winnipeg. In this piece, I imagine the bridge deconstructing herself, and flying across the globe, to return to her rightful home spanning this Biblically iconic river.
